Here at Anoraks Anonymous, we like to think that we get things done pretty quickly. Luckily for us we get a lot of help from our best mate Jack.
Now Jack’s not like your average best friend, no Sir. Jack is a robot that we built, unfortunately he’s not one of these robots, but a CD ripping robot. Jack helps us rip up to 55 CDs an hour, meaning that we can transfer your music and get it back to you quicker.
Stay tuned for a video of Jack in action…

I’m pretty sure making a profit from the duplication of copyrighted material without the copyright owners permission is legal no?
It actually isn’t illegal (if you meant to say illegal rather than legal) as we only download the CD’s that the customer has bought, and only return ipods or hard-drives with that music downloaded onto them, and no one elses.
Hopefully we’ll hear from you soon, thank you for your interest.

So how does the robot work and how much did it cost to build?
The robot works in the same way as a computer does in that it will rip CD’s onto a hard-drive. However it has four
CD drives rather than one and rips the CD’s at a much faster rate. It also does not need supervising as it changes the CD’s that it rips on its own.
